I don't know which country the new Wonder Woman's wardrobe represents, but it's definitely not the USA.
The opening lyrics to Wonder Woman's 1970's theme song said it all:
"Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman.
All the world's waiting for you,
and the power you possess.
In your satin tights,
Fighting for your rights
And the old Red, White and Blue..."
So who is Adrianne Palicki protecting in her red, gold, and blue costume?
While some people are attacking Palicki's physical appearance - claiming the young actress' face is too round to assume Lynda Carter’s role as Wonder Woman - my issue is with the super heroine’s updated getup.

The original Wonder Woman’s attire was a direct reflection of her allegiance to America - a symbol of American pride. The red, white, and blue colors in WW’s costume warned bad guys all over the world, that if they messed with the USA, they’d get a red and white stiletto boot in their ass.
So where is NBC’s patriotism?
